Forgot to mention in my previous post that I met Mr Flett on Saturday. Mr Flett, as we all should know, was guitarist / singer in my first band Tunnel. He's done the same as me - by that I mean he's writing songs on his own with his acoustic guitar not that he's got fat and lazy. A few emails were exchanged yesterday and we were gonna maybe try getting some kind of band together again - we just need a drummer and a bassist. I suppose I could take over bass duties if someone provided me with the equipment, and we were gonna ask Nat if he fancied drumming. Obviously all of this depends on available time (what with my kid on the way and Nat already having two!).
Should the band of 3 or 4 thing fail, I was gonna suggest to Mr Flett about working together to become the next Tenacious D! However, he may already know this when I suggest it to him if he's read this blog... The future's bright, the future's apparently orange. I don't like oranges, so let's just say the future's bright, shall we?
